Dr Athena Lim graduated from Murdoch University, Australia, in 2018 and has since been practicing veterinary medicine in Singapore, with a focus on exotic animals. During her university years, she developed a strong passion for avian and exotic medicine, which led her to volunteer and complete internships at various exotic animal clinics and zoological institutions across the Asia-Pacific region.
In recognition of her dedication and keen interest in this field, Dr. Lim was awarded The Unusual Pet Vet Prize by Murdoch University upon graduation. Over the years, she has worked alongside and been mentored by experienced exotic animal specialists, allowing her to deepen her expertise and stay current with advancements in exotic veterinary medicine.
Dr. Lim aspires to further specialize in exotic companion mammal medicine in the near future.
