This Data Protection Policy (“Policy”) sets out how Beecroft Animal Specialist Services Pte Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects your personal data, in compliance with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”).

This Policy applies to all individuals whose personal data is in our possession or under our control, including clients, pet owners, referring veterinarians, employees, contractors, service providers, and general enquirers.

  • Identity Information: Name, NRIC/FIN/passport number, nationality, date of birth, gender, marital status.

  • Payment Information: Credit/debit card details, billing address, transaction details.
  • Health Records: Information related to your pet’s medical history, treatment, diagnostics, and consultation records.
  • Referrals: Data from referring veterinary clinics or professionals.
  • CCTV and/or Audio-Visual Footage: For safety, security, and service quality purposes within hospital premises. This may also including of recording of the triage and questions raised during consultation to assess patient history and health which may be used for automatic transcription with/without AI based application.

We do not collect personal data unless it is reasonably necessary for our services or required under law.

3. Purpose of Collection, Use and Disclosure

We collect, use and/or disclose your personal data for the following purposes:

a. Medical & Clinical Care

  • Managing veterinary appointments, referrals, diagnostics, surgeries, hospitalisations, and aftercare.
  • Recording and reviewing clinical procedures and case histories.
  • Communicating with pet owners and referring clinics.

b. Administrative & Operational

  • Processing payments, issuing invoices and receipts.
  • Managing insurance claims and third-party billing.
  • Responding to queries, feedback, or complaints.
  • Managing our hospital facilities, staff, and clinical workflows.

c. Legal & Compliance

  • Complying with applicable laws and regulatory requirements from the Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority (AVA), Animal & Veterinary Service (AVS), or other bodies.
  • Managing risk, audits, insurance and legal proceedings, if any.

d. Marketing & Communications (with consent)

  • Informing you about our events, health campaigns, workshops, promotions or other hospital updates.

We will obtain your consent before collecting and using your data unless collection is required or permitted by law.

4. Disclosure of Personal Data

We may disclose personal data:

  • To referring veterinary clinics for collaborative case management.
  • To specialist consultants, radiologists, or laboratories engaged in your pet’s care.
  • To third-party service providers (e.g. IT support, billing systems, marketing vendors) who support our operations under confidentiality obligations.
  • To government authorities as required by law.
  • In case of emergencies, to relevant authorities or next-of-kin.

We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties. These purposes may apply even after your relationship with us has ended.

a. Consent

b. Withdrawal of Consent

You may request access or correction to your personal data by contacting us. We may charge a reasonable fee for such requests and will respond within 30 days.

  • CCTV monitoring and restricted access to sensitive zones.
